I had a good year bowhunting in ’97. Like most years I had both some good and bad luck. My year started in Missouri in May turkey hunting. The weather and the birds were not cooperating so I returned home empty handed.
September came fast, along with whitetail hunting in Minnesota. During the season I killed 3 whitetail bucks. An 8 pt., a 7 pt., and a 5 pt.
October 24th I left for Western North Dakota and some mule deer hunting. Nine days later I was headed home empty handed but had a great hunt. For 4 days I chased and stalked a great buck that I would guess would have scored in the 180s!
This year as always my Pro Caliper Release performed perfectly. ’97 was the second year hunting with my Pro Caliper. I have killed 6 whitetail bucks, a 5×5 bull elk, and a handful of small game and varmints with it.
Enclosed is a picture of some fine carp and buffalo fish shot with archery equipment in a local tournament. The buffalo I am holding weighed in at 16#. It was the largest rough fish shot in the tournament! I also won the most fish and the most overall weight trophies in the tournament. I was using a Cobra Roller Rest. It is easy to use, simply designed, and supports heavy glass arrows easily. I have shot hundreds of rough fish using your rest and it has never given me one bit of trouble.
Thanks for putting such great performing archery products on the market for the serious bow hunter. I would also like to say that for the performance and quality, your products are also a great value.
Good hunting and shooting,
